Blake L. Weible, 27, of Defiance, peacefully passed away surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at his home in Ayersville.

He was born on October 15, 1989 to David and Sandy (Matson) Weible in Lima, Ohio. Blake was a 2008 graduate of Ayersville High School. He attended the University of Toledo, and was a  2016 graduate of Bowling Green State University, earning his Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies. Blake was formerly employed at Menards in Defiance. He loved to learn about anything and everything, especially Science and English. He had a real passion for reading, and he retained most everything he read. We are so blessed to have this time with Blake. He was truly an amazing young man and will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Blake is survived by his mother Sandy Weible of Ayersville,  father David (Angie) Weible of Colon, Michigan, sisters, Kari Weible of Ayersville, and Kirstin (Junilla Arrieta) Weible of Tucson, Arizona, brother Derek (Katelyn) Weible of Napoleon, grandmother Myrna Weible, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John Weible, Shirley Matson, and Rolland Matson.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Monday, May 22, 2017 at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance, and for one hour prior to services on Tuesday.  Funeral services will be at Schaffer Funeral Home at 11:00 am on Tuesday, May 23, 2017, with Deb Miller officiating.
