Beulah M. Hamm
Beulah M. Hamm, 83, of Defiance, OH, passed away Friday, June 27th, 2014 at Twin Rivers Care & Rehabilitation Center.
She was born in Blue Pennant, West Virginia on September 16, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Ruby Mae (Jarrell) Smith.
She was a member of Second Baptist Church. She had worked at K-Mart and the Dog House Restaurant. Beulah enjoyed volunteering at Defiance Hospital since 1980. she also enjoyed blue grass music and spending time with her friends on Tuesday nights at the Blue Grass Barn in Oakwood, OH. Most of all, Beulah enjoyed spending time with her family and good friends.
In 1971 she married Darris Hamm, who survives.

Son: Kevin (Cecilia) Hamm of Fort Myers, FL
Step Sons: Stanley (Sherri) Hamm of Napoleon, Daniel Hamm of Napoleon, Jerry Hamm of Napoleon
Step daughter: Vivian Bush of Napoleon.
Sister: Bobbi Jane Smith of Mechanicsburg, PA
Brothers: Edgel Smith of Antioch, CA, Walter Smith of Portland, Oregon, Larry Smith of North Carolina
She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by a sister Pat Burnside, a brother Clyde Smith Jr. and her parents.
Services for Beulah will be at Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home 1753 S. Clinton St. Defiance, at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 1st, with Rev. Max Begley officiating.
Friends are invited to call Monday 2-4 & 6-8 at Lawson-Roessner.
Entombment will be in Riverview Memory Gardens Mausoleum
Suggested memorials are to CHP Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center.
