Betty L. (Lang) Partee's Obituary
Betty L. Partee, 89, of Defiance, passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2014 at the Laurels of Defiance.
She was born on August 18, 1925 to Richard and Caroline (Frank Pracht) Lang in Defiance. Betty married Virgil V. Partee in 1945 and he passed away in 2007.
She was a member of Grace Bible Church. Betty retired from SK Handtool in 1987 after 33 years of employment..
She is survived by her sons, Michael Partee of Defiance, Mark Partee of Defiance, Phillip (Bettie) Partee of Plain City, OH, daughter, Marsha (Junior) Geckle of Continental, 5 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and a brother, Louis (Carde) Pracht of Paulding
.
She was preceded in death by her father, Richard, stepfather and mother, Fred & Caroline Pracht, and husband, Virgil.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Thursday, September 04, 2014 at Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 5, 2014, at the funeral home with Dr. John McKay officiating. Burial will follow at Ayersville Cemetery.
The family requests memorials be directed to Grace Bible Church.
