Betty Kathleen Hackworth, 58, of Napoleon, passed away on  Sunday, May 6, 2018 at her sisters house in Cecil. She was born on September 13, 1959 to Joe and Deloris (Patrick) Hackworth in Defiance, OH.  Betty worked for Campbell's Soup.  She enjoyed crochetting, reading, spending time with her grandchildren and cheering on the Kentucky Wildcats Basketball. Betty is survived by her son, Joseph Drake of Medina, OH, daughter, Jennifer Simpson of Montpelier, 3 grandchildren, Zoe, Autumn, and Devin,  parents, Joe & Sue Hackworth of Ayersville, sisters, Brenda (Clayton) Vance of Cecil, Glenda (Rex) Hoellrich of Ayersville, Vickie Plummer of Napoleon, and brother, Delbert (Karen) Hackworth of Defiance.

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 10, 2018 from 12:00 until 6:00 pm  at Schaffer Funeral Home, Inc., Defiance, Ohio. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Magoffin County Funeral Home in Salyersville, KY. Burial will take place in the Patrick-Hackworth Cemetery in  Burningfork, KY.
