Bernardo Polanco Jr. Bernardo Polanco Jr., 63, of Defiance, Oh, passed Saturday, October 17th, 2015 at CHP Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center. He was born in Big Spring, TX on September 21, 1952, he was the son of the late Bernardo and Esperanza (Vega) Polanco. He had worked as a cook, a nurses aid, in the oil industry and as a truck driver. He was a member of St. John Catholic Church. The last several years he had resided at Twin Rivers and the Laurels. Surviving are his sisters: Dora Garcia of Defiance, Mary Polanco of Defiance, Sylvia Polanco of Odessa, TX, brother John Vega of Ft. Worth TX and nieces and nephews. Bernardo was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Joe Vega and Jessie Polanco. There will be no public services. The Lawson-Roessner funeral Home was entrusted with Bernardo's arrangements.
