Beatrice I. Fronk, 95, of Defiance, passed away on  Friday, January 10, 2014 at her residence.

She was born on September 15, 1918 to Leroy and Margaret  (Steel) Crampton in Defiance, OH.  Beatrice worked as a Laborer for GM for 14 years retiring in 1969. In 1937 she married Virgil Fronk, who preceded her in death in 1990.

She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, St Mary's Altar Society, UAW Local 211 Retirees, Defiance Senior Center.

Beatrice is survived by her daughters, Mary Lou (John) Mack of Defiance, OH, and Janet (James) Sager of Deshler, OH, 6 Grandchildren, 10 Great-grandchildren, 3 Great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by parents, her husband, Virgil Fronk, and a brother, Dale Crampton.

Visitation will be held Monday, January 13, 2014, from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm, with a vigil service at 7:00 pm at Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance, Ohio, and from 10:00 - 11:00 am Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Defiance.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2014, at 11:00 am at St Mary's Catholic Church, with Fr. John Stites, officiating.

Burial will take place in the St. Michaels Catholic Cemetery, Defiance Co.

Memorials are suggested to the Defiance Area Hospice Visiting Nurses or the church.
