Barbara Jean "B.J." Noble, age 71, of Defiance, passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2026.

She was born on November 4, 1954 to the late Paul and Betty (Burton) Manning in Springfield, Ohio. B.J. treasured her time spent with her family. She enjoyed playing pool, and watching football and baseball. She will be missed by her family and friends.

B.J. is survived by her daughter, Jennifer (Jeremy) Zedaker of Defiance, three grandchildren; Nathan Gray of Ft. Wayne, IN, David (Keisha) Zedaker of Pioneer, OH, and Abbey (Joe) Schlosser of Lagrange, IN. She also leaves behind her sisters; Brenda (Phillip) Winkler of Cecil, OH, Vickie (Rick) Floyd of Florida, and Betty Lou (Don) Dixon of Tennessee.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, and three brothers.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance. A funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. B.J. will be laid to rest in Riverside Cemetery.
