Barbara J. Meade Barbara J. Meade, age 76, of Defiance, passed away Saturday, October 19th, 2013 at St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo. She was born in Coeburn, Virginia on July 21, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Pansy (Holbrook) Adams. She attended the Church of Christ and the Church of God. On July 5, 1955 she married Bland Clifford Meade. Barbara will be greatly missed by her husband Bland, daughters: April Lynn (Stanley Sr.) Cook of Defiance, Lisa (Stephen) Bruns of Bloomington, IN, Sandra Meade-Linnaberry of Defiance son: Quinn (Kristi) Meade of Bryan. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; Nicole Starr, Morgan Linnaberry, Michaela Bruns, Kennedi Bruns, Luke Meade, Emma Meade, and Matthew Meade. Service will be in the Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home, 1753 S. Clinton St. Defiance, at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 23rd, . Friends are invited to call Tuesday 2-4 & 6-8 at Lawson-Roessner.
