Barbara J. Fekay, 75, of Defiance, passed away on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at The Toledo Hospital. She was born on August 13, 1943 to the late Knute and Barbara (Love) Anderson in Key West, Florida. Barb worked as a cashier at Krogers for several years until her retirement in 2002. In her leisure time she enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Barb will be sadly missed by her daughter, Kelly (Gamaliel) Arce of Defiance, son, Daniel Fekay of Saginaw, MI, grandsons, Seth Seinkner, and Samuel (Taylor) Seinkner, step-grandchildren, Julia Arce and Gamali (Stephanie) Arce, great-granddaughter Charlotte, great-step-grandchildren Raelyn and Graciella, sister Nancy, and brothers, Tom and Bob. Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Family Christian Center in Defiance. A Memorial Service will follow at 2:00 pm at Family Christian Center, with Eliud Arce officiating.
