Audelia Serda, 83, of Perrysburg, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at her residence in Perrysburg. She was born on October 24, 1931 to Juan and Guadelupe (Hernandez) Martinez in Gonzales, Texas. On October 16, 1958 she married David Serda, who preceded her in death in 2011. Audelia is survived by her sons, Henry Martinez of Bowling Green, Ohio, Jerry (Jan) Serda of Swanton, Ohio, John (Becky) Serda of Deshler, Ohio, Simon (Hope) Serda of Perrysburg, Ohio, Tony Martinez, and Paul (Roberta) Serda of Albuquerque, New Mexico, daughters, Mary Ann (Mike) Eureste of Las Vegas, Nevada, Mary Lou (Ron) Coles of Defiance, Janet (George) Garcia of Dayton, Ohio, Marie Serda of Perrysburg, Ohio, Betty Jean (Dan) Chen of Bellingham, Washington, Gloria (Keith) Marty of Defiance, 36 Grandchildren, 51 Great-grandchildren, 8 Great-great-grandchildren, brother, Lee Martinez of Valprasio, Indiana, and sister, Dominga Gallegos of Houston, TX. She was preceded in death by father, Juan Martinez, mother, Guadelupe Martinez, husband, David Serda, brother, Bert Martinez, brother, Benny Martinez, brother, Lupe Martinez, brother, John Martinez, brother, Raymond Martinez, brother, Domingo Martinez, sister, Mary Lopez. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 pm on Monday, July 6, 2015 at Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, July 6 at the funeral home, with Pastor Steve Heilshorn officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.
