Antonia "Toni"  McGuire, age 62 of Defiance, Ohio, went to be with The Lord on Friday, December 24, 2021 at St. Luke's Hospital in Maumee, Ohio. She was born on October 13, 1959 to Santos and Antonia (Lonzano) Bentancur in Seguin, Texas. On October 24, 2009 she married Jerry McGuire, who survives. Toni cherished her time spent with her family. She enjoyed gospel and oldies music, listening to preaching, watching classic movies, and her dogs, Gotti and Marshmallow. Toni will be sadly missed by her loving husband, Jerry McGuire of Defiance, and her sons; Isaac Moulder (Keirsten Hull) and Sean Moulder, both of Defiance. She also leaves behind two grandsons, Isaac and Nolan Moulder, her sisters, Annette Rupert (Lee Miles) of Lima, OH, Franchesca (Anthony) Mauer of Austin, TX, and Xan (Tim Reynolds) Bentancur of Napoleon, and her brother, Isaac Bentancur of New Orleans, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Santos Bentancur, Jr. All services for Toni will be private. Schaffer Funeral Home was honored to assist the family with arrangements.
