Anna A Johnson, 89, of Saline, MI., passed away on  Sunday, May 11, 2014 at  the Linden Square Assisted Living Center, Saline..

She was born on December 13, 1924 to Chancey and Gertrude (Edwards) Steel in Paulding, OH.  On July 6, 1945 Anna married Eber Vernon Johnson and he preceded her in death on February 10, 1999.

She is survived by her son, Richard (Cookie) Johnson of Ann Arbor, MI, daughter, Debra (Frank) Wilk of Seiverville, TN and a  grandson, Scott Wilk of Sevierville, TN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.

Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at Schaffer Funeral Home with the funeral service at 11 a.m.  Deacon Jeff Mayer will officiate.  Burial will follow in Sherman Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to Hospice or to a charity of the donor's choice.
