Obituary

Ann Pavka, 95, of Defiance, OH passed away on August 5, 2012 at the Laurels Nursing Home.

She was born on January 1, 1917 to John and Anna Studenka. She married John Pavka and they were inseparable until he passed away June, 2005. Ann was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Stanley, son Albert and granddaughter Judith. She is survived by a granddaughter Jodi Cote her husband Chris and 2 great grandchildren Alisa and Simon all of Newmarket, New Hampshire.

Ann was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association. Ann and John loved going to Czech dances, traveling after they retired and keeping an immaculate house. She worked for over 20 years at the Bryan Plastics Company before she retired.

A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday August 9, 2012 at 11am at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Defiance, Ohio.

Visitation will be held Wednesday August 8, 2012 from 4-7 pm at Hanenkrath-Clevenger-Schaffer Funeral Home, with a rosary service at 7pm.

Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or a charity of your choice.
