Aniya Rayne Brooks-Riblet, of Defiance, peacefully passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2014 at Promedica Defiance Regional Hospital.

She was born on October 22, 2014 to Matthew Riblet and Anastasia Brooks in Defiance.

Aniya is survived by her parents, Matthew Riblet and Anastasia Brooks, brother, Kingstyn Brooks-Riblet. at home, sister, Analeecia Brooks, at home, Paternal grandparents, Rick & Kim Riblet of Cecil, Maternal  grandparents, Claudine Brooks of Defiance, Nathaniel Byrd, Sr. of Toledo, many aunts, uncles & cousins.

Visitation will be held from 9-11 am Wednesday, October 29, 2014, at Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance.   Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 29, 2014, at the funeral home with Pastor Clayborn Arnett officiating.  Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery.
