Angela K. Kline, age 55 of Defiance, passed away unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, July 10, 2024. She was born on June 20, 1969 to the late Arthur and Emma (Miler) Deming in Paulding, Ohio. Angela was a 1987 graduate of Paulding High School. On October 20, 2018 she married Ron Kline, who survives. Angela earned her Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Rhoads State University. She loved taking care of the elderly and enjoyed her nursing career at The Laurels for thirteen years. She also worked at Dairy Queen for four years, and continued to assist families with their home health needs. Angela loved watching her grand babies, and she was a true animal lover as well. Angela was a very loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother. She will be sadly missed by her family and many good friends. Angela is survived by her loving husband, Ron Kline of Defiance, and her five children; Jonathon Jackman and Justin (Summer) Jackman, all of Defiance, Emmalee Jackman of Toledo, OH, Taylor Jackman of Indianapolis, IN, and Katie (Caleb) Craig of Hicksville, OH. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren, her brother, Keith (Lori) Deming, sisters, Cindy (Tim) Sanders and Kim Widenhammer, sisters-in-law, Cindy Deming and Janea Deming, and special family friends, George and Sandy.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Jeff, Todd and George Deming, and brother-in-law Richard Widenhammer. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at her residence starting at 2:00 pm. Schaffer Funeral Home was honored to assist the family with arrangements. Memorials are suggested to the family to assist with funeral costs.
