Commander Allen Beck, Director of the U.S. Navy Band in Washington, D.C. passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2016. He is survived by his wife E. Gail Beck and son Captain Martin Beck. Graveside services will be held Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Riverside Cemetery in Defiance, Ohio. Military graveside rites will be accorded by VFW Post #3360. Schaffer Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
