Alice M. Zoll, age 89 of Defiance, passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at her residence. She was born on December 13, 1932 to the late Glen and Harriet (Merrifield) Lautermilch in Camden, Michigan. On March 7, 1959 she married Andrew "Andy" Zoll, who survives. Alice was known for making beautiful rag rugs and she loved to sell them at craft shows. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Alice is survived by her loving husband, Andy Zoll of Defiance, his children; Bonnie Zoll and Dwayne Zoll, all of Defiance, and Cheryl McCain of N. Baltimore, OH, six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, her brother, Junior Lautermilch of Pulaski, OH, and her sister, Mildred Root of Quincy, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers; Louis, Paul and Marion Lautermilch, and three sisters; Opal Brown, Grace Davis, and Hazel Dietrich. There will be no visitation or services. Schaffer Funeral Home was honored to assist the family with arrangements. Memorials are suggested to The Path Center.
