Alberta M. Page Alberta Mae Page, 91, of Defiance, passed away Sunday night, June 5th, 2016 at CHP Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center. She was born in Andover, Ohio on June 7, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Goldie Mae (Murray) Barker. On December 29, 1945 she married Lloyd Page who died in 1998, She had worked at Miller's Hamburger Shop, Equity Dairy Store and Kunz Drug Store. She was a lifetime member of the Bryan VFW Auxiliary. She attended the First Church of God, enjoyed garage sales, antiquating and loved her grandchildren. Alberta will be missed by her daughter Rosemary (Lee) Hoeffel of Defiance, sister: Loretta Sieg of Middlebury, IN, brother: William (Linda) Barker. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren: Sheila (Dan) Stricklin, Lea (Brent) Newton, Jason (Kristy) Hoeffel and Christa (Nathan) Bickel, 12 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Preceded in death by a brother Jess Barker Services at Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home at 12:00 p.m. Noon on Wednesday, June 8th, with Rev. Larry Kennedy officiating. Visitation is Wednesday 10-12 before services. Burial will be in Brunersburg Cemetery. In lieu of flowers suggested donations are to the CHP Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center 6817 St. Rt. 66 N.
