Albert "Bud" Ehlinger, 79 Years, of Defiance, passed away on  May 12, 2017 at CHP Hospice in Defiance, OH.

He was born on August 14, 1937 to Robert and Dorothy (Schudel) Ehlinger in Defiacne, OH.  Bud was a veteran of the U.S.M.C. serving from 1954 - 1962.  He worked in the Maintenance Department at GM until retiring in1990.  On July 7, 1957 he married Doris Miller.

He was a Life Member of AmVets and VFW Post #3360 and also a member of Defiance Eagles.

Bud is survived by his loving spouse of 60 years Doris Ellen Miller, daughters, Kristina (Angel Wetzel) Coffey and Vickie (Karl) Brace, sons, Al (Kathy) Ehlinger, Jr., Doug Ehlinger, 8 Grandchildren, Several Great-Grandchildren, sister, Alice Mae Mack, and brother, Bob (Jan) Ehlinger, Jr.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 16, 2017, 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Schaffer Funeral Home, Inc., Defiance, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2017, 11:00 am at the Schaffer Funeral  Home, Defiance, Ohio, with , Deb Miller officiating.

Burial and Honor Guard service will take place in the Riverside Cemetery.
