Adron Combs, age 82 of Defiance, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at The Laurels of Defiance. He was born on November 24, 1940 to the late Arvel and Ogie (Handshoe) Combs in Elmrock, Kentucky. On June 19, 2000 he married Leta Hutchins, who survives. Adron was a member of First Baptist Church in Bryan, Ohio. He worked for several different factories over the years until his retirement. Adron was an avid fisherman and he also enjoyed gardening and being outdoors. He was a huge fan of the Kentucky Wildcats Basketball team. Adron was kind to everyone and had a big heart. He will be sadly missed by his family and many friends. Adron is survived by his loving wife Leta Combs of Defiance, his son Paul (Sheryl) Combs of Bryan, OH, granddaughter, Brittney Combs, 4 stepchildren, 15 step-grandchildren, and 4 step-great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Matthew Combs, and one step-great-grandson. A graveside service for Adron will be held at Davidson Memorial Gardens in Ivel, Kentucky at 2:30 pm on Friday, October 13, 2023.
