William Miller II Obituary

William R. Miller, II, 73, of Oakwood, passed away on Tuesday, October  9, 2018 at The University of  Toledo Medical Center.   
  
He was born on December 5, 1944 to William and Ruth Ann (Saxon) Miller in Washington, PA. On June 20, 1992 he married Deborah (Carder) Miller, who resides in Oakwood, Ohio. 

William worked for several years at General Motors Fischer Body Corp. in Ewing, New Jersey. After relocating to Ohio, he worked for General Motors in Defiance, retiring in 2002. He was a member of the Eagles #372. In his leisure time he enjoyed fishing and cooking.
  
William will be sadly missed by his wife of  26 years, Deborah Miller of Oakwood, daughter, Catherine (Christopher) Howell of Morrisville, PA, stepsons, Richard Holcombe, III of Defiance, and Jeffrey Holcombe of Austin, TX, stepdaughter, Crystal Holcombe, who he raised from birth, 15 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, brothers, Kevin (Victoria) Miller of Morrisville, PA, Timothy Miller of Weaverville, NC, and Mike Miller of Charlotte, NC, sisters, LeeAnn Hadon  of Spartanburg, NC, and Eva (Jim) Underkoffler of Sellersville, PA. 
  
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Jennifer Gancarz, and stepdaughter, Rebecca Holcombe.
  
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. 

Schaffer Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
