Thomas Jerald Wolf, 62, of New Bavaria, passed away unexpectedly on Friday,  June 30, 2017.  

 He was born on August 1, 1954 to Jerald and Rozena (Carder) Wolf at Defiance , OH.  On July 6, 1975 he married Darlene Vandemark, who survives.

 Tom owned and operated his own dairy farm in New Bavaria OH, and was a member of Emmanuel's Church, New Bavaria.  He graduated from Holgate High School and The Ohio State University, where he earned a Bachelors Degree in both Dairy Science and Agriculture Education, he then went on to earn his Master's Degree in Education from OSU.  Tom also was an Ohio L.E.A.D. program graduate through The Ohio State University.  He was active with Henry Co. Dairy Service Unit, Ohio Soybean Council, Dairy Farmers of America and its Cooperate Resolution Board, Henry Co. Farm Bureau, National Holstein Association and Ohio District 10 Holstein Association, Pleasant Twp Zoning Board, COBA/Select Sires Delegate, and was a past advisor for Pleasant Ridge 4-H Club.  Tom was an avid reader who enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and was a friend to everyone.  He also enjoyed being in the outdoors and especially loved being on the water.

Tom is survived by his loving spouse Darlene, 2 sons, Kurt (Linda) Wolf of New Bavaria, OH, and Brad (Marcella) Wolf of Beavercreek, OH, a daughter, Stacy (Dennis) McCoy of Milford, OH, Grandchildren, Reese & Henry McCoy, Carmen & Leo Thomas Wolf, and a sister, Christine (Larry) Kussmaul of Fort Myers, FL.

 He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Natalie Stober.

 Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 5, 2017, from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm  at Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance, & Thursday, July 6, 2017, 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Ayersville United Methodist Church, Ayersville, OH.

Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am in the church, with Rev. Clarence Dinnen, officiating.

Memorials are suggested to the Wolf family for the creation of a Memorial Scholarship.
