Sarabelle  Gambler, 87, of Bryan, formerly of Defiance, passed away with her family at her side on Friday, April 7, 2017 at Genesis Healthcare Center in Bryan, Ohio.  
  
She was born on May 25, 1929 to Ray and Florence (Barrick) Ridenour in Williams County, Ohio. On November 27, 1950 she married Howard L. Gambler, who preceded her in death on April 10, 2008.
  
Sarabelle was a member of United Brethren Church in Bryan, and Defiance Moose Lodge #2094. She enjoyed babysitting children in her home for several years, and Sarabelle loved her stuffed animals. 
  
Sarabelle will be greatly missed by her daughter, Diane (Tom) Root of Bryan, sons, Randy (Marlene) Gambler of Kentucky, Terry (Sharon) Gambler of Defiance, Larry (Ashley) Gambler of  Defiance, and Lonny Gambler of Paulding, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 
  
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Howard L. Gambler, sons, Michael Gambler and Kelly Gambler, daughters, Penny Gambler and Wendy Gambler-Smith, brother, Doyle L. Ridenour, and sister, Ila L. Ridenour.
  
Friends are welcome to visit with the family from 12:00 to 1:00 pm on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at New Life Worship Center in Bryan, Ohio. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 1:00 pm at the church, with Pastors Jeff Miller and Paul Collins officiating. Burial will follow the service at Sherwood Cemetery.
