Natasha D Roddy, 37, of Defiance, passed away unexpectedly on June 11, 2019 at the Cleveland Clinic.
She was born on April 18, 1982 to Lyle and Debora (Fry) Sonnenberg in the Republic of Panama. Natasha was a Class of 2000 graduate of Defiance High School. On February 2, 2001 she married Mark Roddy who survives.
She was very active in her kid's activities, including sports and education and valued any family time. Natasha was a project team leader at NASG, formerly Alex Products, for C1 3rd shift in the Ridgeville Corners facility. She started in 2000, leaving briefly in 2008 and returning in 2010 for a short period due to medical problems and a successful battle with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Natasha returned back again in 2015 until recently while battling heart problems and awaiting a heart transplant.
Natasha is survived by her loving spouse Mark, of Defiance, sons, Kaleb and Kellan Roddy of Defiance; parents, Lyle and Debora (Fry) Sonnenberg of Harrison, Michigan; sisters, Shannon (Tyler) Reinhart of Hicksville, Ohio, and Holly (Brent) Greear of Continental, Ohio. She will also be dearly missed by her grandmothers, Barbara Sonnenberg and Diane Mullins both of Napoleon, Ohio.
Visitation will be held from 2pm-8pm on Monday, June 17, 2019 at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at the funeral home with Reverend James Fry officiating.
Burial will take place in Riverside Cemetery .
