Larry Wagner

Lawrence "Larry"  Wagner, 68, of Defiance, passed away with his family at his side on  November 23, 2018 at the CHP Inpatient Center in Defiance, OH.  
  
He was born on July 25, 1950 to Bernard and Georgiana (Hejl) in Defiance, Oh.  On July 13, 1974 he married Linda Lienau.  Larry attended Indiana Tech were he received his Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering.  He worked at Koester Corp. for 40 years, retiring in 2012.  He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Team Defiance and National Society of Professional Engineers.  Larry loved to ride bikes and take his 1980 International Scout to truck shows.
  
Larry is survived by his loving spouse of 44 years Linda, daughter, Sarah Wagner of Ft. Wayne, IN, sons, Andrew (Na Zhang) Wagner of Franklin, TN and Nicholas (Karen) Wagner of Arvada, CO, grandsons, James, Charles, Elliott, Ian and Ryan, mother, Georgiana Wagner, sisters, Kathy (Doug) Seibert of Ney, OH, and Mary Ellen (Rick) Arend of Paulding, OH, brother, James (Barb) Wagner of Fremont, IN. 
  
He was preceded in death by father, Bernard Wagner.
  
Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 27, 2018, 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Schaffer Funeral Home, Inc., Defiance, Ohio.
     
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 28, 2018, 11:00 am at the Zion Lutheran Church, Defiance, Ohio, with Rev. Timothy Reynolds and Rev. Jim Brehler officiating.
  
Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Defiance, OH.
