Kaycee Rae Spencer

Kaycee Rae Spencer, 2, of Defiance, passed away suddenly on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Promedica  Defiance Regional Hospital.   
  
She was born on November 25, 2015 to father, Wesley Spencer and mother, Emily (Baker) Spencer in Defiance.    

Kaycee was such a happy little girl who loved everyone and everything.  She especially loved animals, puppies and bubbles. Kaycee was taken from us way too soon, and we will always remember her beautiful smile, the joy and laughter she brought to our lives each and every day, watching her favorite movies, dancing to the music, her cuddles and her forehead kisses. Her memory will live on in our hearts forever.

Kaycee is survived by her loving mother, Emily C. Spencer of Defiance, father, Wesley C. Spencer of Virginia Beach, maternal grandfather, Chip Baker, maternal grandmother, Michelle Baker, paternal grandmother, Elaine Spencer, paternal grandfather, John Spencer, maternal great-grandmother, Ruth Anne Baker, aunt, Sarah Baker, uncle, Nathaniel Baker, aunt, Alicia Spencer, and uncle, Zac Spencer. 
  
She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Harold and Delores Donaldson, and great-grandfather, Rev. Charles Baker.
  
Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance.  A Vigil service will take place at 2:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at 11:00 am at St. John Catholic Church, with Father Eric Mueller officiating. Burial will follow the service at Monroe Cemetery in Continental.
