Karol "Kay" A. Beilharz, 75, of Defiance, passed away on  Wednesday, November 25, 2015 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.  
  
She was born on May 27, 1940 to Frank and Zora (Murry) Overmier of Liberty Center, Ohio.
  
Kay was a member of  Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Okolona and was active in the Altar Care Committee. She worked for the Defiance County Records Center and retired in 2013. Kay loved her grandchildren, spending time with them and attending their sporting events at Tinora. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends.
  
Kay is survived by her sons, Kraig (Sue) Beilharz of Defiance, and Kent (Mary Jo) Beilharz of Napoleon, daughters, Kelly (Terry) McKenney of Defiance, and Kara (Greg) Drewes of Napoleon. Grandchildren: Ethan and Tyler McKenney; Ashley (Graham) Wagner, Zach Beilharz; Landon, Derek, Nathan and Jacob Drewes; Jim, Jessica and Theresa Brumbaugh; Reagan and Jordyn Beilharz; brother, Stacy Overmier of Liberty Center; and sister-in-law, Kay Overmier of Liberty Center.
  
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Zora Overmier, and a brother, Stu Overmier.
  
Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 8:00 pm on Sunday, November 29, 2015 at Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance, and for one hour prior to services at the church.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, November 30, 2015 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Okolona, Ohio, with Rev. Terry Courter officiating. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Lutheran Church Cemetery.
