Georgia Dillingham, 94, of Perrysburg, formerly of Defiance, passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo, Ohio.  
  
She was born on February 15, 1923 to Orville and Charlotte Mae  (Hollabaugh) McCullough in Defiance. On May 1, 1948 she married Elmo Dillingham, who preceded her in death on April 16, 1982. 
  
Georgia and Elmo were founders and owners of Dilly Door Company in Defiance, retiring in 1977. She was a gifted needle worker, and beautifully crocheted and cross stitched. Georgia was an avid reader and was a huge sports fan of basketball, baseball, football, hockey and Nascar.
  
Georgia will be sadly missed by her daughters, Debra (Douglas) Kemp of Perrysburg, Ohio, and Susan Plummer of Wellington, Ohio, 8 grandchildren; Matthew (Pam) Plummer, Mark (Shari) Plummer, Scott (Lissa) Plummer, Craig (Mandy) Plummer, Jessica Kemp (Matt Scheidt), Jenna (Andrew) Timm, Jaclyn Lang, and Joshua Kemp, 19 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren. 
  
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Elmo Dillingham, three sisters, one brother, and one great-grandson.
  
Visitation will be held from  9:00 to 11:00 am on Friday, April 21, 2017 at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance. Entombment will follow at Riverview Memory Gardens.
