Debra K. Norden, 63, of Defiance, passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Brookview Healthcare Center in Defiance.   
 
She was born on March 24, 1954 to Stanley and Eloise (Fackler) Thomas in Defiance. She was a florist by heart, a former realtor for Sigg Realty, and was a Home Health Aid in the Defiance area. She enjoyed shopping with her daughters, and vacations on the beach. Debra fought for years with the effects of brain cancer. She will be greatly missed by family and many good friends. A special Thank-You for the kindness and compassion from doctors and nurses over the years, and the caregivers at Brookview Healthcare Center.
 
Debra is survived by her mother, Eloise Thomas of Defiance, daughters, Amy (Brian) Callan, and Elizabeth (Joseph) Behnfeldt, all of Defiance, brother, Kent (Melissa) Thomas of Defiance, 4 grandchildren; Will and Ella Callan, and Macy and Brooklyn Behnfeldt, all of Defiance, and nieces, Marlee (Zac) Clay, and Kayla Thomas, all of  Bowling Green, Ohio.
 
She was preceded in death by father, Stanley Thomas, and brother, Randy Thomas.
 
Visitation will be held from 2-4 pm on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance. Funeral services will follow at 4:00 pm on Saturday at Schaffer Funeral Home, with Deb Miller officiating. Burial will be at Riverview Memory Gardens.
 
Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.
