David John Fraley, 49, of Defiance, passed away on Friday, December 22, 2017 in Punta Gorda, Florida.  
  
He was born on June 26, 1968 to Carl and Sharon (Cole) Fraley in Findlay, OH. On June 26, 1997 he married Vivian (Hughes) Fraley, who resides in Defiance. David was co-owner of Kenley Enterprise, and was a Journeyman Tool and Die maker. He loved old cars and car shows, and he enjoyed going to flea markets. Most of all he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.  
  
David is survived by his loving wife of  20 years, Vivian Fraley of Defiance, mother, Sharon (Joe) Kirkham of Defiance, stepmother, Janet Fraley of Tiffin, OH, sons, Shawn (Charity) Kelly of Bryan, and  Brad Gillespie, daughter, Crystal (Craig) Oskey of Bryan, 7 grandchildren; Chaz Sweinhagen, Blaze Sweinhagen, Shayde Gillespie, Maize Bevins, Madeline Kelly, Sunny Kelly, and Jaxzon Oskey, great-granddaughter, Adaline Roelfs, five sisters; Kimberly Riblet of Hartford City, IN, Andrea Kirkham of West Unity, Diane (Ken) Morris of Peoria, IL, Cheri (Charles) Miler of Defiance, and Annetta (Dan) Booher of Liberty Center.  
  
He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Fraley, and grandparents, Marie and Harvey Cole.
  
Visitation will be held from 2-6 pm on Friday, January 5, 2018 at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance. A Memorial Service will follow at 7:00 pm at Schaffer Funeral Home, with Taze Rachael officiating.
