Daniel Lee "Dano" Roehrig, 63, of Defiance, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at CHP Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center.
He was born on April 7, 1955 to Jack and Charlene (Bohner) Roehrig in Defiance. Dano was a registered nurse, and he worked as a bartender for Spanky's for over 20 years. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, and Eagles #372. He loved rock music, motorcycles, tye-dye t-shirts, halloween, and cruising. Dano loved to have a good time, and he was a great friend to everyone.
Dano will be sadly missed by his wife, Mary Lou Gilmore, son, Josh Roehrig of Bowling Green, and other children, Wendi (Joe) Smith of Westland, MI, Jason Hicks of Spokane, WA, Nicholas (DeJon) Raines of Libby, MT, Danielle Raines of Defiance, and Mattea Gilmore of Columbus, brothers, Edward (Ann) Roehrig of Defiance, Joseph Roehrig of Milwaukee, WI, John (Cindy) Roehrig of Defiance, Michael Roehrig of San Antonio, TX, and Matthew (Brenda) Roehrig of Pensicola, FL, grandson, Jordan, five other grandchildren, and over 67 nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Spanky's.
