Dale Edwin Tressler

Dale Edwin Tressler, 70, of Speedwell, TN and Defiance, OH, passed away on  March 7, 2018 at the Physicians Regional Medical Center in Knoxville, TN.  
  
 He was born on July 15, 1947 to Wayne and Janet (Galbraith) in Hillsdale, MI.  Dale worked as a Millwright for GM retiring after 38 years. On November 23, 1970 he married Bonnie Braden.  He was a self made man who enjoyed spending time with his family, woodworking, building things, working on cars and tractors, and taking care of his "girls" (cows).
  
Dale is survived by loving spouse of 47 years Bonnie, daughters, Michelle Tressler of Kalamazoo, MI,  Dawn (Chuck) Hart of Rochester, NY, Sherri (Brian) Tackett of Archbold, OH, and Kim (Chris) Gentit of Defiance, OH, sons, Brian (Kerrie) Tressler of Defiance, OH, and Jeff (Amy) Tressler of Hainesport, NJ, grandchildren. Kevin, Joshua, Kelsee, Roman, Madison, Skylar, Jacob, Emily, Jason, Lance, Kolton, Kayla, and Robert, 4 great-grandchildren, sisters, Virginia (Joe) Huggins of Monroe, MI and Joann West of Monroe, MI, and several nieces and nephews. 
  
 He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Tammy Tressler, granddaughter, Kylie, and brothers, Larry Tressler, CalvinTressler, and Jackie West
  
Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 13, 2018, 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Schaffer Funeral Home, Inc., Defiance, Ohio.
     
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 14, 2018, 11:00 am at the Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance, Ohio, with  Charles Alley officiating.

Burial will take place in the Myers Cemetery.
