Clarence J. Rozevink, 91, of Wauseon, Ohio, passed away on Monday, May 14, 2018 at Fairlawn Haven Care Center in Archbold, Ohio.
He was born on July 29, 1926 to Jacob and Sarah (Wagner) Rozevink in Defiance. Clarence proudly served our country in the U.S. Army during WWII. In 1947 he married Wilda (Switzer) Rozevink, who preceded him in death in 1989. In 1990 he married Mary Ann Kipfer, who resides in Lake Wales, Florida.
Clarence was a member of The Church of God, and was a lifetime member of American Legion #340 in Holgate, and DAV. He worked at The Cook Coffee Company from 1947 to 1958, and with Prudential Insurance Company from 1958 to 1988. Clarence was a big supporter of the Billy Graham Evangelical Society, and was a witness for Christ. He enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family.
Clarence will be sadly missed by his son Larry (Marcia) Rozevink of Wauseon, OH, daughter, Lisa (Danny Jr.) Burr of Orlando, FL, three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and sister, Elsie Rozevink of Standley, OH.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Wilda Rozevink, daughter, Linda Stark, and sister, Marcella Gerschutz.
Visitation will be held from 3-8 pm on Monday, May 21, 2018 at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Schaffer Funeral Home, with Rev. Mike Harmon officiating. Burial will follow the service at Riverside Cemetery, with graveside military rites accorded by VFW #3360.
