Alyce "Elaine" (Musselman) Harvey

Alyce "Elaine" Harvey, 78, of Bryan, Ohio,  passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, IN.  
  
Elaine was born on November 3, 1939 to Elvin H. and Ruth E. (Fortune) Musselman in Youngstown, OH. 
  
Elaine graduated from Rayen High School in 1957.  In 1958,  she married Jerry W. Harvey and they had three daughters: Jayne, Lori, and Cheryl.  She was employed by Western Reserve Care System and Spectrum Health as a certified coding specialist.  She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Youngstown OH.  Elaine was an avid reader, enjoyed music, Scrabble, Reality TV, spending time with her grandchildren, and was an avid Cleveland Indians fan..
  
she is survived by her daughters, Lori (Rex) Robison of Defiance, OH, and Cheryl (John) Bieltz of Thomson, GA, her brother, E. Paul (Dee) Musselman of Roscommon, MI, six grandchildren, Shannon (Evan) Wagoner, Phillip Powell, Megan Powell, David W. Soles, Emily  Soles, and Joseph Robison, and three great-grandchildren, Gavin and Abby Wagoner, and David L. Soles. 
  
She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Jayne Harvey, a sister, Lois  Wright, three brothers, Lloyd Musselman, Clarence Musselman, and William Musselman.
  
A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 2, 2018, 3:00 pm at Second Baptist Church, Defiance, Ohio, with Rev. Max Begley, officiating.  The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 - 3:00 pm on Monday prior to the service.
  
Burial will take place at Green Haven Memorial Gardens, Canfield OH, at a later date.  Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance OH, assisted the family with arrangements.
  
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to Hillside Country Living, Bryan OH, NAMI - Four County, or Second Baptist Church, Defiance OH.
