Agnes M. (Jurcevich) Rudolph age 101, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2018 in Taylor, Michigan. Former resident of Defiance, Ohio for over 60 years.
Beloved wife of the late Jacob F. Rudolph for 58 years.
Loving Mother of Roberta (John) Yost, Marie (the late David) Wetzel, and Barbara (the late Allen) Luccitti.
Dearest Grandmother of Cynthia, Elizabeth, Jeannette, Janet, Pamela, Stephen, Allen and Lana.
Cherished by her eighteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Sister to Valeria and Jean. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by 3 brothers and 5 sisters.
Agnes was a dedicated LPN at Defiance Hospital, where she lovingly looked after the newborn babies in the nursery and tenderly cared for their mothers, for over 30 years. She was a member of the hospital auxiliary, the LPN association of Ohio, the Eastern Star, and volunteered at St. Paul Lutheran Church of Defiance. Agnes enjoyed gardening, her beautiful flowers were showcased both inside and outside her home, she also loved cooking and baking for family, friends and neighbors.
The family would like to extend sincere thanks to the Compassionate Care Hospice Aides, companion nurses and chaplain, and the dedicated and compassionate staff at the Beechwood Living Center in Taylor, Michigan, especially Sandra, for the excellent care, attention, and love given to Agnes during her stay there.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm at Schaffer Funeral Home, with Rev. David Brobston officiating. Burial will follow the service at Riverview Memory Gardens in Defiance.
