Mary Lou Missler, age 70 of Bryan, Ohio, passed away on Monday, February 26, 2024.
She was born on April 10, 1953 to the late Sylvester and Marjorie (Allgire) Longsmith in Defiance, Ohio. On May 11, 1991 she married Paul Missler, who survives. Mary Lou was a faithful member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Bryan, and Defiance Eagles #372. She worked for several years at Burger King, Knox Laundry, and Scott Portafold in Archbold. Mary Lou was an avid reader and she enjoyed crocheting, fishing at Nettle Lake, growing flowers, and word search puzzles. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Mary Lou is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Paul Missler of Bryan, her sister, Vicki (Bruce) Stuckey of Harrison, OH, and three nephews, Dennis, Scott and Joe.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, David Lee.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 4, 2024 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 am at the funeral home, with Pastor Steve Rath officiating. Mary Lou will be laid to rest at Riverview Memory Gardens.
