Vicki Lynn (Siler) Hitt

Vicki Lynn Hitt, 65, of Winter Garden, Florida, formerly of Defiance, passed away on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Florida Hospital East in Orlando, Florida.   
  
She was born on July 19, 1952 to Joseph C. and Mary Jean (Chadwell) Siler in Middlesboro, Kentucky. In 1971 she married Harry Steven Hitt, who preceded her in death. 
  
Vicki was full of life and was always proud of her sons and their accomplishments. She had a strong Christian faith and was dedicated to her family. Vicki enjoyed playing bingo, cards, bowling, and singing. She will be sadly missed by her family and all who knew her.
  
Vicki is survived by her three sons, Yanvari (Holly) Hitt, and Seth (Rachel) Hitt, all of Orlando, FL, and Shawn (Lanette) Hitt of Albany, GA, two  grandchildren, Chelsea and Harrison, sisters, Pam (Jack) Copeland of Inglewood, FL, and Melissa (Kent) Thomas of Defiance. 
  
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry S. Hitt, and brother, Tony Siler.
  
Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm at the funeral home, with Pastor Shawn Hitt officiating.  Burial will follow the service at Riverside Cemetery.
