Scott E. Reynolds, 50, of Defiance, peacefully passed away on Friday, March 16, 2018 at Twin Rivers Care and Rehabilitation Center in Defiance.
He was born on June 16, 1967 to Robert A. Reynolds and Karen (Marquardt) Haaser in Defiance. Scott was a 1986 graduate of Ayersville High School. He completed his Janitorial Training Program in Stryker, Ohio in 1990, and he attended PCS until July, 2017.
Scott worked as a janitor at several local businesses in the area. His favorite job was being a bagger at Chief Supermarket. He loved helping shoppers take groceries to their cars. He participated in patient-centered services for 10 years. Scott enjoyed being out in the community, and participating in different activities. He especially enjoyed attending Walleye Hockey games in Toledo. For the past 8 years Scott resided at Twin Rivers Healthcare Center. He loved watching movies, particularly superhero action flicks and comedies. Monday nights were reserved for his special treat of Nachos el Grande and Monday Night Raw on TV. Occasionally, others at Twin Rivers were treated to his enthusiastic yelling during the wrestling matches.
Scott will be greatly missed by his mother, Karen Haaser of Defiance, father, Robert (Dorothy) Reynolds of Arlington, TX, brother, Rick A. (Nancy) Reynolds of San Diego, California, and stepfather Tom Haaser of Bryan, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Visitation will be held from 6-7 pm on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance, with a Memorial Service to follow at 7:00 pm. Rev. Matthew Schiemann will officiate the service.
