Reba F. Breckler, 87, of Defiance, passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at Promedica Defiance Regional Medical Center.  
  
She was born on January 31, 1929 to Michael and Evelyn (Liska) Breckler in Defiance, Ohio.  She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Defiance. She worked as the Administrator for Defiance County Selective Services for many years. Reba was formerly a bookkeeper at the furniture store in Oakwood, and she also worked at Paulding County Senior Services. She owned and operated farmlands in Paulding and Defiance counties. Reba enjoyed gardening and she loved animals.
  
Reba is survived by her sister, Madonna Breckler of Defiance, and several nieces and nephews. 
  
She was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Evelyn Breckler, brothers, John Breckler and Michael Breckler, and sisters, Revella Willitzer, Mary Mansfield, and Evelyn Wurst.
  
Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, July 15, 2016 at Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance, with a Vigil Service at 7:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Defiance, with Father Randy Giesige, officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery.
