Patricia A. Moore, 74, of Defiance, passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio.

She was born on December 2, 1942 to Manly and Ann (Maenle) Carnahan in Ottawa, Ohio.  Pat was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Defiance. She worked at Campbell's Soup Company in Napoleon for 39 years, retiring in 2008. She was a three time breast cancer survivor before courageously losing her battle to breast cancer. Pat was a loving mother and grandmother who cared so much about others. She will be sadly missed by so many that loved her.

Pat is survived by her daughters, Edith Howard (Gary Pritt) of Lexington, NC, Patricia (David) Benard and Diana (Dan) Mekus, all of Defiance, son, Leroy Moore of Defiance, 21 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild, sisters, Betty Keeney, Dorothy Duling, and Barb Martin.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughters, Debra Piasecki, Connie McCoy, and Pamela Crawford, brothers, James, Duane, Robert, and Tommy Carnahan, sisters, Mary Jane Michael and Martha Cekander.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 pm  and  6:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance, with a Vigil Service scheduled at 6:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 am on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at St. Mary Catholic Church,  with Fr. John Stites officiating.  Burial will follow the service at Riverside Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the family to help with expenses.
