Mykola Holinko Jr., 60, of Defiance, passed away on March 12, 2016 in Defiance, OH.  
  
He was born on October 12, 1955 to Mykola and Sophia (Scherbak) Holinko in Trenton, NJ. On March 13, 2008 he married Michelle Jones.

Mykola was a dedicated and loyal tradesman serving as a millwright at the Defiance General Motors Foundry for 41.8 years. He was an avid automobile enthusiast and always proud to drive a Chevrolet. He enjoyed many other hobbies and spending time with family and friends.  
  
Mykola is survived by his loving spouse of one day shy of 8 years, Michelle of Oregon, OH, son Zachary Holinko of NJ, step sons Kenneth (Dorian Bartlett) Carroll of Toledo, OH and Michael (Amanda) Carroll of Woodville, OH, a granddaughter Kinley Carroll, sister Olga (Jim) Miller of PA, brother Myron of NJ, and many nieces and nephews.
  
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mykola Holinko, Sr. and Sophia Holinko, and a sister-in-law Nadia.
  
Visitation will be held at St. George Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 839 Yardville-Allentown Road, Yardville, NJ 08620, at 6pm on Thursday March 17, 2016 with a Panahida Service at 7pm. Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance, Ohio is handling local arrangements. Koschek & Porter Funeral Home (609-499-0640) is handling arrangements in NJ.
    
Funeral services will be held at 9am on Friday March 18, 2016 at the church.
  
Burial will take place in St. Andrew Cemetery, 280 Main Street, South Bound Brook, NJ 08880.
