Miranda Megan Jimenez, 29, of Defiance, passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio.  
  
She was born on June 26, 1987 to Reynaldo and JoAnn (Esparza) Jimenez in Defiance. Miranda earned her Associate's Degree, and worked as a Chiropractic Assistant at Defiance Chiropractic Center. She was a member of Community Christian Center in Hiscksville, Ohio. Miranda loved her family and spending time with them.
  
Miranda will be sadly missed by her parents, JoAnn and Reynaldo Jimenez, Sr. of Montpelier, Ohio, son, Michael Rey Temple, brother, Charles (Ashley) Jimenez,  sister, Erica (George) Moser, all of Defiance, sister, Violet Gaddis of Texas, grandparents, Julia and Elias Jimenez, Sr., and many aunts, uncles, and friends. 
  
She was preceded in death by her brother, Reynaldo Jimenez, Jr., and grandparents, Anna and Charles Esparza.
  
Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 8:00 pm on Sunday, April 9, 2017 at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance, and for one hour prior to services at the church. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, April 10, 2017 at The Family Christian Center in Defiance, with Pastor Tim Tracy, Pastor Jay Scott, and Pastor Waldemar Cruz officiating. Burial will follow the service at Riverside Cemetery.
