Lee Rodrigues Esquibel, 75, of Hicksville, passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at CHP Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center.  
  
He was born on October 6, 1940 to Jose and Ester (Rodrigues) Esquibel in Shepherd, Michigan. Lee served our country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. On September 5, 2000 he married Judy (Rau) Esquibel, who resides in Hicksville. Lee worked at General Motors in Defiance for 36 years, retiring in 1997. He was a member of Sherwood Open Bible Church. He loved playing guitar and singing.
  
Lee will be greatly missed by his family; wife Judy R. Esquibel of Hicksville, son Mike Myer of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, grandchildren:, Cheyene (T.J.) Guthrie, Myiah Myer, and Uriiyha Myer, all of Ft. Wayne, and Tyler Myer of Fremont, Indiana, brothers, Ben (Rebecca) Esquibel of Defiance, and Manuel Esquibel of Texas, and sister, Eva Perez of Decator, Indiana. 
  
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, and one brother.
  
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 11am at Sherwood Open Bible Church, with Pastor George Alley officiating.  Where Military Honors will be accorded by Sherwood VFW Post #5665.
