Leroy J.  Stoker, 74, of Defiance, passed away on Monday, June 27, 2016 at CHP Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center in Defiance, Ohio.  
  
He was born on January 2, 1942 to Joe and Doris (Showman) Stoker in Grand Rapids, Ohio. On November 12, 1966 he married Rozella (Roddy) Stoker, who resides in Defiance. Leroy served our country in the U.S. Navy in 1962. He was a jokester and loved to talk. He was a big fan of the Defiance Bulldogs sports.
  
Leroy is survived by his loving spouse of 49 years, Rozella Stoker of Defiance, daughters Karin Stoker of Napoleon, and Loretta (David) Schroeder of Defiance, and granddaughters Amber (Shannon) Healy and Dreama (Lloyd) Eby, and four great-grandchildren. 
  
He was preceded in death by his parents, Doris and Joe Stoker, brother Albert Stoker, and sister Charlene Terwillger.
  
Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 pm on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance. A Memorial Service will  follow at 3:00 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home, with  Minister Liz Richmond officiating.
