Isabella Emma Beindorf, 101, of Defiance, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 14, 2016, surrounded by her family at the Laurels of Defiance.  
  
She was born on July 14, 1915 to William and Theresa (Diringer) Coffman in Defiance, Ohio. On December 21, 1933 she married Lewis T. Beindorf, who preceded her in death on April 27, 1981.  
  
Isabella was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Defiance. She owned and operated Isabella's Beauty Shop in Defiance, and she worked at National Stone Company in Defiance.  Isabella was a life long member of Zion's Lutheran Church, and was a member of its "Lutherans of  Long Standing".  She hand made the baptism napkins for the church, and she also enjoyed sewing and making clothing for her family members.
  
Isabella will be sadly missed by her family; daughter, Arlene (Fred) Butler of Defiance, 5 grandchildren:, Gary (Rhonda) Butler, Diane (Todd) Radke, Amy (Jim) Miglin, Keith (Ann) Beindorf, and Kristen (Rob) Schmitt,  8 great-grandchildren:, Lewis (Jill) Butler, Jane Butler, Jennifer (Mike) Sammon, Wendy (John) Pruitt , James Miglin, Marissa Beindorf,  Luke Beindorf, and Aaron Beindorf, and  3 great-great-grandchildren:, Megan and Elizabeth Hitzeman, and Kenzie Sammon. 
  
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Lewis Beindorf, brother, Bob  (Margaret) Coffman, and a son, Theodore (Sandy) Beindorf.
  
A luncheon will be served at the church on Saturday from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon  for friends and family. Visitation will be held  from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Zion's Lutheran Church in Defiance, Ohio.  Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm on Saturday at the church, with Pastor Timothy Reynolds officiating.  Burial will be held at Riverside Cemetery.
