Dana L. Hudnall, II, 63, of Defiance, passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at CHP Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center in Defiance, Ohio.  
  
He was born on April 18, 1952 to Dana and Marie (Adkins) Hudnall in Norfolk, Virginia.  On March 23, 1999 he married Lee Ann (Mansfield) Hudnall, who resides in Defiance.
  
Dana drove a semi truck for Genova Plastics in Ft. Wayne, Indiana for 20 years. He owned and operated "Just Smokin Q4U" barbecue, which included a mobile barbecue and competition business and led to the restaurant in the Defiance Mall. He started an expediting business in 2010, and his wife joined him in 2014 after retiring and they traveled through the continental 48 states.  Dana loved motorcycles, and spending his time with his children and grandchildren..
  
Dana is survived by his loving spouse of 16 years, Lee Ann Hudnall of Defiance, stepsons, Kerry (Jeni) Schnitz of Grafenwohr, Germany, and Chad (Kula) Pixler of Olympia, Washington, stepdaughter, Jill (Sam) Ripke of Defiance, grandchildren, Karissa Schnitz, Theo Ripke, Axel and Delilah Pixler; sisters, Sheryl  Hudnall-Williams of Dayton, Ohio, Sarah Hudnall of Bonners Ferry, ID, and Sue Brinkman of Defiance.
  
He was preceded in death by his parents.
  
Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 7:00 pm on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance. Funeral services will  follow at 7:00 pm at the funeral home, with Bill Wray, officiating.
