Dallas G. Carroll, 83, of Defiance, peacefully passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2018, and is now rejoicing in heaven with his Lord and Savior.    
  
He was born on June 1, 1934 to Millard and Bertha (McCoy) Carroll in Thacker, WV.  On March 24, 1953 he married Pearl (Taylor) Carroll, who resides in Defiance. Dallas was an active member of Defiance Christian Church, as an Elder and Deacon. He was a member of Defiance County Fish & Game, and Defiance Co. Senior Center. He drove for the Senior Center, and enjoyed woodworking, and spending time with his family. 
  
Dallas will be missed by his loving wife of 64 years, Pearl Carroll of Defiance, sons, Garry (and the late Carol) Carroll of Defiance, Randy (Cindy) Carroll of Clarkston, MI, and Tim (Karen) Carroll of Defiance, 6 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, his older twin sister, Ann (and the late Glenn) Miller of Defiance, and brother, Bill (Nancy) Carroll of Las Vegas, NV. 
  
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Ray Carroll and Delbert Carroll.
  
Visitation will be held from 1-4, and 6-8 pm on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, January 17th at Schaffer Funeral Home, with Pastor Mike Hasselbring officiating. Burial will follow the service at Riverview Memory Gardens.
