Rebecca  "Becky" J. Zimmerman, 66, of Continental, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2016 at the Toledo Hospital.  
  
She was born on November 21, 1950 to Henry and Dorothy (Miller) Lantow in Defiance. On June 25, 1976 she married Charles "Charlie" Zimmerman, who resides in Continental, Ohio.
  
Becky was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Defiance, and the American Legion Auxiliary Post #531 in Continental.
  
Becky will be sadly missed by her loving spouse of 40 years, Charlie  Zimmerman of Continental, son, Randy (Angela) Zimmerman of Spencerville, Indiana, grandson, Alex Zimmerman, and granddaughter, Alyssa Zimmerman, both at home, brothers, Terry (Jean) Lantow and Steve Lantow, all of Defiance. 
  
She was preceded in death by her parents, and son, Scott Zimmerman.
  
Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, December 2, 2016 at St. John Lutheran Church in Defiance, with Rev. Donald L. Luhring officiating. Burial will follow at Monroe Cemetery in Continental.
